"Clean Start, Clear Mind"
In alignment with our mission to empower, uplift, and support minority women and girls, Strong Survivors Women & Youth Empowerment (SSWYE) is introducing a fee-for-service program to meet a vital community need: light cleaning and organizing for African American and elderly women and businesses. This initiative provides a clean space and a clear path toward peace, stability, and overall wellness. This program fosters diversity and inclusivity, supporting local economies, which aligns with the Grand Challenges for Social Work. "Building Financial Capability and Assets for All" and possibly "Ending Homelessness" by creating job pathways for vulnerable populations.
Purpose & Alignment with Mission:
Many of the women we serve face barriers that impact their physical, mental, and emotional well-being, including limited mobility, aging, health challenges, evictions, and a lack of reliable support networks. A clean, safe, and organized home is essential to mental clarity and dignity. This service empowers women to live more comfortably and confidently in their space, promoting independence, self-worth, and emotional healing—the core values of our mission.
